If my reasoning is correct, one of those people putting forward the most arguments is actually Kom1. As a user, Kom1 is quite peaceful; he rarely engages with the people poking at him (if I recall correctly, Morgan Rodriguez57 was the only one who managed to get under his skin enough to earn him his first red card in all these years on the site). But since Kom1 refuses to stoop to petty trolling, others accuse him of not truly interacting with users, claiming instead that he just posts "blog entries." In reality, the truth might be that he provides solid, analytical breakdowns, but there aren't many users equipped or willing to measure their own arguments against his... so they accuse him of being unwilling to dialogue. That isn't really the case. It's more that Kom1 only responds to substantive contributions. That's just my take. Best regards.

Listen, your critiques and posts carry zero weight with any decent person until you start communicating honestly instead of acting like every thought you have was handed to you by Bogon. Maybe work on yourself a bit. Respect others and love your own views, then maybe people will actually like you. But as long as you're trashing everyone else while demanding respect for yourself, you're just digging your own grave.!!

I have to disagree. Kom1 is simply someone who, in a certain sense, bolsters your specific ideology while attacking a viewpoint you happen to oppose—one that you are actively fighting against. 🙂 In reality, both of you possess absolutely ZERO substantive arguments —you are merely relying on anecdotes and romanticized versions of the facts. I could argue against both of you individually on any thread within the Religion sub-forum. 😁 He dismisses any evidence that doesn't suit his narrative, just as you do. Both of you are driven by a similar (and deeply personal) ideology rather than logic. I don't have an issue with the ideology itself, and I certainly have even less issue with you two (heaven forbid!), but I do appreciate seeing concrete data instead of fabricated stories being presented as indisputable truths. The fundamental problem is that neither of you views these issues within their proper historical context, nor do you seem to have much grasp of it. I will address those concepts properly in the relevant threads, but here, I am simply pointing out your demagogic portrayal of the situation—as if we are all fools, while you two, who are quite lost on the subject matter, are somehow enlightened, which is simply not the case. 🙂 You truly don't realize what you are writing about, and please understand, this isn't meant as an insult; it is simply my professional assessment. From my perspective, you and he are on the exact same level. Neither of you relies on actual authorities or serious experts regarding the topics we debate; instead, you lean on Brandon, Trevor link, and Kosidowskog—none of whom qualify as legitimate scholars in the fields we discuss. I’ve honestly tried everything I can to flag the mods, sub-mods, and admins about how rowdyhawk10 is just doing whatever they want—it feels so biased and, frankly, pretty amateurish—but nothing sticks... there’s really only one way to look at this, and since I have zero interest in dealing with someone so stubborn, I’m stepping away from the religion subreddits for a while... at least until things actually start looking up...

Can the PZ moderators please just lock this thread... 🙂

If what was written about Islam bothered you that much, you could have just deleted those specific posts—though I stand by them, because just because someone finds the truth uncomfortable doesn't make it any less true. For what it's worth, I find malicious, hateful comments regarding Christianity or God equally offensive... yet I haven't seen anyone getting sanctioned for that. Meanwhile, I get slapped with a 100-point penalty. 👎

Guys, don't even bother arguing... trust me, I know how this goes. I was part of that first big revolt over religion when we were pushing for Christian mode and trying to get rowdyhawk10 off the moderation team... but talking to the admins on this site is basically like talking to a brick wall.

I get that they don't take every complaint seriously, but when a moderator clearly and undeniably messes up, the least they could do is retract the ban and offer an apology... but no, the mods here are treated like royalty, untouchable sacred cows. This whole site would probably go under before any mod here admits they made a mistake and says sorry to you.

I really don't want to get bogged down in the specifics of how moderators are appointed, but I honestly can't stop thinking about how the higher-ups handle the mods... it's wild. Back when I was a moderator myself, I actually got called out by management just because I issued a single warning to someone—and get this—not even to the person I warned, but to some completely different user who decided to rebel against it... 🙏

When you compare that to rowdyhawk10—who basically doesn't even read the posts and just hands out bans whenever someone reports them, making him an overall pretty terrible moderator—nobody from the top brass even gives him a little nudge... it's night and day, really... 🙂

So, once again, I'm asking the moderators of this subreddit to please just lock this thread... it isn't serving any purpose anymore, except for people who were banned by rowdyhawk10 to use it as a way to vent...
