Look, you're totally missing my point. I'm not saying I'm obsessed with them because they're attractive—though, sure, why wouldn't I be? I meant that those characters are just incredibly badass. Most people seem to think that's all there is to it, so I figured I'd just leave it at that instead of getting into a whole debate.

Look, regardless of how you feel about it, this poll is zillion times better than anything you've ever put out. Not only do you intentionally leave out any other options so we can't vote for something else, but you also have the nerve to write in the intro: This is everything available, you have to vote for one of these... 🤣 If I recall correctly, the moderators even flagged one of your previous polls as actual spam.☕

Man, you guys always brighten my morning 🤣—just sitting here with my coffee and a cigarette, trying to figure out my game plan for the day (though, full disclosure, I totally botched that last poll—I’m pretty annoyed with myself for not leaving more room for debate, honestly)... but hey, I'm glad it got you guys talking. Winona will be featured in a separate poll later on, which should be a real treat; I wouldn't want to ignore everyone else if she showed up here, that just wouldn't be fair. Besides, she was only in one movie. In my book, her role as Mina in Dracula was way better than in Alien, but hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion. As for that whole thing about the women... it was partly to make them stand out, and partly because the formatting looked a bit messy without the caps... 🤣 And let's not forget there are plenty of iconic male characters too, right?
They'll get their fair shot as well (and I'll be taking your suggestions into account so it won't be quite as limited this time).

My vote went to Scully, specifically Dan Scully😍, though I have to admit Ripley was right up there with her...

Ellie Arroway from Contact (Jodie Foster) is such a killer example of a highly educated scientist who is just completely obsessed with one single goal. She’s totally surrendered herself to it. I guess her enthusiasm is pretty much worth losing her career over, and she basically has zero personal life left. It's intense.

Clarice Starling (played by Jodie Foster), the one and only Ellen Ripley, Dana Scully (not because of some movie, but purely for the show), and Sarah Connor.
