I picked up a Dell UltraSharp 24, hooked it up to my PC, and everything seems to be running perfectly smooth. However, I’ve run into a bit of a snag. I have a TV in my room that I use for watching cable, and when I tried taking the cable from that setup and plugging it directly into this monitor—switching the input from PC mode to TV mode—nothing happens except for a screen full of static. I even thought I might get clever and try connecting my DVD player through the SCART port since it actually has one, but that was just more static. If anyone has any insight into why I'm getting nothing but snow on the screen, I would genuinely appreciate the help. Thanks.
