Blank PDF files

Hey everyone, I really need some help here! Everything was working perfectly fine until just a bit ago, but now, out of nowhere, certain PDF files aren't showing up for me at all 🤷

I haven't changed a single thing on my computer... and honestly, if I had messed with any settings, the whole forum would be acting up, not just specific PDFs

What should I do????? 😕

Which browser are you running currently?
If you're on Google, maybe give Internet Explorer a shot, or vice versa.

If everything works fine in Internet Explorer, you might want to head over to Google and go to Tools->Clear Browsing Data. Just make sure to select everything except your saved Passwords before you clear out the cache.

I ran into this on Internet Explorer, so I hopped over to Google, but it’s the exact same deal.

I honestly don't get it—this is only happening to me on this specific forum, and even then, it's not everywhere. I can read some subforums just fine, but others (the ones I actually care about!) are totally blocked.

Usually, if someone can't open certain PDFs, it means they've been permabanned from that specific sub-forum, which blocks access to those files entirely.
I'm not sure if that's what's happening on your end, though.

But wait, I just stumbled onto something else...
On my laptop using Wi-Fi, the PDF is totally invisible, but on my desktop with an Ethernet connection, I can see it just fine... and it's the exact same link!

Honestly, this makes zero sense to me and I am dying to know why! 😁

It’s possible your laptop is just dealing with a weak signal, which makes loading a single page take forever—especially if you're trying to pull up something heavy with tons of images or external links.
I had a buddy back in the day running on a connection that was barely 0.16 Mbps, and I remember it would take him at least thirty seconds just to get a basic page to show up.
