I’ve been scouring the web for hours now, but I can’t seem to find any decent guidance on how to actually get a production house off the ground—something covering everything from feature films and series to full-scale marketing ventures...
I’m looking for some actual direction on who to reach out to or where I can dig up the necessary intel regarding all of this...

Look, I’m not talking to you—I’m talking to the people actually pulling the strings behind this game. Honestly? My best advice is just don't do it, at least not here in the States. You really need to do your homework first, specifically regarding all the legal hoops like setting up an LLC and all that tedious paperwork. But if you’re absolutely hell-bent on going through with it, then I guess you better go out there and arm yourself.

I’ve got people on the outside handling things—actual investors and industry pros who know their way around this kind of business—so my role would really just be overseeing a few specific segments of the operation...
