Post count tracker

The system won't let me start a new thread, so I guess I'll just dump my question right here. Does anyone actually understand why my own posts don't show up immediately? It’s like they vanish into some digital void, and instead of seeing what I just wrote, I’m looking at stuff from ten days ago—assuming, of course, you've already cleared that hundred-post threshold. Or, even more frustratingly, the counter says I've only made five posts when I know for a fact I've contributed way more than that. It's one of those weird little glitches that makes you feel like you're shouting into a canyon and waiting days for the echo to finally hit back.

Why can't you just start a new thread? Your question has absolutely nothing to do with the original topic and is completely off-topic. I went ahead and moved your post to its own thread.

Two possibilities:

Most of your posts are buried in subforums where they don't even count toward the total. Typical.

You’re just like a few other posters here—a victim of this broken counter. For some of us, the tally has been completely trashed since that server maintenance a few months back.

I mean, if my posts aren't tucked away in that "Offtopic" PDF, then I honestly don't know what else to tell you. It makes me wonder, though—is there actually another one of those PDFs floating around out there, or am I just shouting into the void here?

You’re posting over on Lowe's and Politics, though from what I gather, posts don't even count toward your total on Politics.
