Keep in mind that the chicken coop is specifically for random, nonsense threads.
In that context, the whole "ten people liked it" thing actually makes sense.
Check the sign on the door before you walk in if you want to avoid an awkward situation...

Just two quick points before you all get back to your little rodeo: first off, this entire thread started in the women's corner, and every single thing I’ve written pertains strictly to the women's corner—it was only moved over to the chicken coop later (and since that move, not one of my posts has actually been part of this discussion). So, all this mocking about what the chicken coop is, how much of an idiot you have to be to take anything seriously there, and the whole debate regarding the validity of arguments about ten people having a "great day" in the chicken coop—it’s all mostly moot at this point. But then again, who’s actually going to bother reading past the first sentence? I mean, I explicitly mention the women's corner in the very first line—so really, who has the patience to read through all this when there isn't even a single picture included...

Secondly, I realize that when a person gets emboldened by a mob, they tend to start thinking with their backside instead of their brain. Even so, that part of the anatomy could have at least concluded that I couldn't care less about feminism, emancipation, or any sort of chivalrous protection of women. I am speaking quite clearly about taking the original post seriously and simply being annoyed by the mockery directed at its author—specifically that comment about "laughing at someone with a disability performing on the street and feeling glad you're better than them." As for explaining why that undermines the credibility of other topics in the women's corner, I won't even attempt it; here we go again, more walls of text without a single image. Therefore, I’m sending a light jab to the illiterate crowd who failed to grasp a single word of what I wrote, yet somehow feel entitled to have an opinion on it.

Anyway, go ahead and continue scratching your backsides and admiring how incredibly cool and witty you all are.

Nicholas King, I really enjoy your perspective. 🙂 However, I think a few of the other members here have a point: you’re still pretty new to this community. If that weren't the case, you wouldn't be spending so much of your energy crafting posts on this thread. 😉
