Look, it’s a total Cult movie... pure trash. Though, honestly, I'm not even sure why I'd call it trash—it hits all those classic horror beats you expect, and it doesn't go totally overboard... except maybe for that ending...😁The plot actually holds up—it’s solid... and the acting? It’s decent. Honestly, way better than those old-school Hollywood flicks from the 50s where the women just gasp and scream at everything... 🤣🤣🤣...the vibe was definitely spot on...🙏

Avatar The theme isn't exactly groundbreaking. We've seen the whole environmentalist angle played out a million times in movies—some do it halfway, others go full overkill. This is a crucial point. I'd say about 40% of cult or original films are actually below average. "Cult" is a tricky term...

I agree with everything else you wrote, except regarding 😛Evil Dead II😁. You should download it and watch it.

ASH and the chainsaw 🙏 might just be the biggest cult phenomenon ever. Seriously, it has massive fanbases, and even the actor himself is legendary...

I might sound a bit thick for saying this now, but if you just look at the raw, unvarnished reality of it, this movie feels pretty original. Ofc it isn't the only one touching on these themes, and I’m sure there are connections to other films that I can't quite wrap my head around right now, but here it is. 😉
