My request to appeal the ban from the Formula 1 subforum

Alright, here’s the deal.

Joe and I got into some personal drama, and honestly, we let it spill over onto this forum. I really regret that. We both made fools of ourselves—mostly me, though—but that’s strictly between me and Joe.

Regarding my permanent ban: it wasn't because I was spamming or being toxic. I actually asked for it myself during a moment of pure frustration, and looking back, I feel pretty bad about it.

I had two alt accounts. One was from a few months ago when I unsuccessfully begged the admins to lift my ban, which ended up getting that account banned too. The second one was just something I set up to bug Seth about Fallout 3—the same game we were geeking out over while grabbing beers and coffee that same day. I posted a few times using that account. I’ve never tried to hide behind alts, and when TBF asked who I actually was, I told him straight up. Naturally, he reported it, and Seth had to ban that account as well. Thanks for being on the ball, TBF. 👍

Since then, I’ve just been lurking as a guest. I check in on NASCAR occasionally, but honestly, I’m not that invested anymore. This isn't really the same community I used to know.

It's too late now, though man, it would have been a hell of a lot better if it weren't, so we could actually get FI and Joe@ back. But yeah, it's too late.😢

The FIA basically holds all the cards as the moderator here, and honestly, Pilatus deserved getting kicked out—they shouldn't even be looking at getting their credentials back 😉...I actually got banned from one subforum myself once, and I totally deserved it, so I’m not out here begging to get back in because that would just be a waste of everyone's time 🤷

First off, what report did Sep get from me? I haven't reported anyone, especially not Rain, so I have zero clue where you're getting that from. 😕

And as for Rain, I haven't talked to him since he got banned here—at least not that I know of. Nobody ever reached out to me posing as Rain on some other NASCAR forum either. When I was asked if I had any clones on this site, I said no and that I had no idea whose clones they were.

The only time I’ve ever filed a report with a mod here was for Pilatus’s post where he was nitpicking my grammar and being provocative. That’s it. Nothing else, and certainly nothing about someone's clone. Sure, maybe I've tossed a comment over on Paddock suggesting Bobsi, Tarquat, or some other guy might be a clone of Pilatus or Rain, but that’s just talk, not an official report, and it doesn't have anything to do with this.

So, I don't know who you think you are, but frankly, I don't believe either of you is actually Rain. Someone is clearly just bored and looking for trouble. 🙄

And yeah, I agree with Pilatus, though I'm not sure who he's referring to. Based on how this looks, neither of you is Rain, and I really don't get why you guys think pretending to be someone else is a vibe. 👎
