Why is this forum even running 😕
It feels like there’s an error popping up every other day--seriously.

If you’re planning on hanging out here for the long haul, you might want to get used to this 🙂

Look, we all know this forum can get glitchy sometimes—server errors happen, or maybe we're dealing with some kind of targeted attack or whatever. But honestly? I have absolutely no clue what's going on this time.

Man, I swear this forum is circling the drain. One minute it’s a 503 error, the next we're staring at a blank screen, and the absolute worst part is that it takes them freaking hours just to get things back online.

Why on earth does this keep happening...

This is how they reward loyalty.

I can't tell if I'm more fed up with 503 or 504.

God help the greedy users of this forum—and I’m not even sure if "greedy" is too harsh, though calling them b****es would probably be an insult, whereas being a glutton is much worse 😁—all because they won't let me include a link to a non-profit organization in my signature, claiming it counts as advertising. 😳
I really hope the ad revenue has dipped enough that someone more competent is running the show now, so we can finally have a bit more freedom here. It’s like paying for a week of commercials on PBS, only for the station to go dark for two days.

It's quite a bold move to lease a domain like forum.com on the American internet and then act like you own the whole damn place and can do whatever you please.

Republican hackers are breaking into the forum. It looks like they finally lost the poll, so now they're just lashing out all over the place. 🤣

I honestly can't decide if a 503 error is worse than a 504.

In my estimation, the 503 is the more frustrating one. When you hit a 504, it usually just means the page timed out while loading, and a quick refresh typically clears it right up. A 504 might go away after one try, whereas I suspect a 503 won't be so easily dismissed.🤔

when you go to check out a profile, it shows everything you've commented on and stuff... is there any way to just wipe that out? 🙂

It’s pretty straightforward. You just find one of your own posts, click edit—which is right down there by the quote and multi-quote buttons—and then just check the box that says delete this post...

Just a heads-up, though; the admins have disabled deleting posts on certain subforums, like the ones dedicated to romance or adult themes, for reasons I can't quite wrap my head around. 🤷
