After we all got a look at that transparent moderator corner, here was my response:

I'm glad everyone gets to see this. Including this hunt Aaron Harris2 is going on for "witches." We really didn't deserve that; we each got flagged, unlike your little clique with vz5 who didn't even get a slap on the wrist for their discrimination, elitism, and insults. I got flagged just for using the word "professional" alongside a smiley face.

It was obvious this was an error, and everything is hidden now, but someone definitely took a screenshot. Meanwhile, the mod in the chat is still blocking anyone from commenting on it, expecting us to just settle for this post. And what is this supposed to represent? An apology? Definitely not.

I just want to address this post, this attempt to pull the wool over our eyes which makes zero sense after what we just read.

What you're saying isn't true. It's clear as day that this is tied to how you approve and steer the "What is Gastronomy to you?" thread—that initial accusatory post which, as it turns out, you approved yourself. Otherwise, I wouldn't be getting worked up, but don't underestimate me, try to blackmail me, or insult me.

I sent you a message afterward explaining that when images are oversized, we either ask users for a new link or condense them into a hyperlink so the photo doesn't clutter the post.

After that, I reported several more posts for being discriminatory, including that one that started the whole argument in Gastronomy Thread #1, but I haven't seen anyone actually get banned for it. Was there no trolling going on there? Or spamming?

As for this "elite" stuff, you can find all of that in Gastronomy Thread #2—it’s pretty obvious who thinks they belong to the upper crust. And regarding professionalism, I read about that on the V5 off-topic chat.

C-C wrote such a lovely post about how she cooks every single day. Most of her daily meals are just basic sustenance—because hey, she has a demanding job and a family with two kids, so life gets busy! But she mentioned that occasionally she loves to dive into fine dining and would love to swap recipes and tips without everyone jumping down her throat like they did over that question about tempering chocolate.
Seriously, my aunt was tempering chocolate forty years ago back in the day, and now people act like it's some huge scandal. Like, wow, talk about elitism!
I really don't get why people took such a sharp aim at her.
We all have those moments where we want to whip up something special, try out a new flavor, or sample the local cuisine when we're traveling—even if it's just a quick road trip to a neighboring state!
