Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking—we really ought to move the Health PDF right up next to the alternative medicine PDF on the main page.

Let's be real, having the alternative medicine PDF sitting there is pretty sketchy because of stuff like this kind of thing.
Look, I get it—plenty of people, myself included, probably blow things out of proportion when we start complaining about these topics. We all make mistakes.

But honestly? Burying the Health PDF way down the list while the alternative medicine one sits up top... it basically sends a message that science and actual medicine are second-rate compared to these "other" methods. It feels wrong.

So, I’m asking—can we please just put the Health PDF right next to (or even above) the alternative medicine one? That way, the folks out there looking for some "magic cure" online might actually stumble upon some decent, legitimate info for once.

Best regards,

I don't want to get too bogged down in the weeds here, but I have to address your signature...
it seems you're grouping homeopathy and MMS into the exact same category...
By the way, someone should probably walk over to a local CVS, pick up one of those amber teething necklaces for infants, and ask the pharmacist what the actual purpose is there.
And another thing: if mainstream medicine has already reached its limit with a particular case, who are we to step in and claim to be someone's final Hail Mary?
As for Alan, I personally know who that individual is from the RL circles, and let me tell you, they are quite a malicious person—and I'm being polite when I say that—and they certainly aren't doing this out of the goodness of their heart to help people.
At the end of the day, it looks like nobody here is entirely in the right....

Kate Fisher73 said:To whom it may concern,

I would suggest placing the Health PDF and the alternative medicine PDF side by side on the forum homepage.

In my opinion, the alternative medicine PDF is quite dangerous due to topics like this and similar matters.
However, let's assume many people, myself included, might be wrong when we protest against such topics.

Still, placing the Health PDF at such a lower position on the homepage than the alternative medicine PDF would indirectly imply subordinating medicine and science to alternative medicine methods.

Therefore, I request that the Health PDF be placed immediately next to the alternative medicine PDF (ideally above it), so that even superficial users searching the internet for "miracle" cures can get a slightly better perspective. Regards

dear enky, if everyone thought the same thing, there wouldn't be a forum. I don't see any issue here.
you can move a wardrobe around a room all you want, but a wardrobe is still just a wardrobe.

Regarding the dangers of MMS—if people are worried, they should contact the CDC, the Department of Health and Human Services, the police, or the fire department, or whatever.
feel free to form volunteer squads to conduct home inspections or something.
harmful or not, whether it's a forum or not, people have phones; they can message and visit each other, so I don't know how you think you can stop Americans from doing what they already intend to do with this forum, with or without it.

Feel free to start your own little volunteer task force to go door-to-door doing home inspections if it makes you feel better.

Why is it always this defensive, shut-down kind of attitude with you?

You’re basically undermining the whole point of this forum being a space where we actually get to have an .Because right now, there isn't any actual debate happening here.It feels like the only thing allowed is mindless, uncritical worship of every single stupid idea that comes our way.

Look, the whole point of this suggestion isn't about trashing alternative medicine—it’s really more about logic. I’m just trying to point out that if we reorganized the PDF sections for Health and alternative medicine (basically with one 😁 smooth move), we could stop some of these "alternative methods" from being treated like gospel. If you put them side-by-side, people would actually see the downsides right next to the claims immediately—and yeah, the same goes for the other way around too.

(mandragora. It's not about moving the damn cabinet, it's about how you organize the junk inside it.)

That isn't even close.
But this is starting to turn into pure hysteria.
There's a difference between debating and when one small, clearly agitated group spends days on end just provoking people and whining.
They seem to assume everyone else is just
MONKEYS, SICKOS, IDIOTS, LOSERS, MORONS, SCUM, ASSHOLES, IMBECILES, IGNORAMUSES, CRIMINALS

Assuming that about such a large group of people is pretty arrogant and, frankly, just stupid.

I was reading up on mandrake the other day—you know, that wild, rooty thing people used to obsess over back in the day—and it really got me thinking about how much we rely on the old ways versus all this high-tech stuff we have now. It’s funny because you look at how people used to treat everything with plants and weird little rituals, and then you jump to today where everyone is looking for some kind of miracle cure or turning toward alternative medicine because they've lost faith in the standard pharmacy run. It's like we're constantly cycling through these two extremes, bouncing between "trust the science" and "trust the dirt," and honestly, I'm just sitting here wondering if we ever actually find a middle ground or if we're just destined to wander around in circles forever. kaže:
Not even close.
Honestly, this whole thing is starting to spiral way out of control. It’s getting ridiculous at this point. Honestly, the sheer level of hysteria we’re seeing lately is just exhausting, isn't it? It’s like everyone woke up one morning decided that being perfectly calm and rational was suddenly out of style, replaced by this frantic, finger-pointing madness where nobody actually listens to anyone else. You see it everywhere—on the news, in the comments sections, even at the local grocery store if you catch people in a certain mood—it’s just this constant, vibrating wave of panic over every little thing. It reminds me of those old movies where one person starts screaming about a ghost in the attic, and before you know it, the whole house is on fire and half the neighborhood is running for the hills because they're convinced the floorboards are turning into lava. We’ve lost the ability to just take a breath and look at the facts without someone turning it into a three-alarm fire. It’s a circus, plain and simple, and I’m just sitting here in the cheap seats wondering when the actual show is going to start..
Look, there is a massive difference between having a civil debate and dealing with a tiny, clearly agitated little clique that just won't quit their endless cycle of provocation and whining for days on end, and honestly, I don't even know what else to tell you at this point.

Yeah, things have definitely spiraled south over the last few days, and let's be real, it’s gone from bad to ugly pretty fast. But look, this didn't just happen by accident or spontaneously generate out of thin air like some weird weather phenomenon; you need at least two people acting in cahoots to stage a circus this ridiculous. 🤷 🍿

says:
Assuming that kind of thing applies to such a massive hugechunk of the population is just plain arrogant—and honestly, pretty damn stupid.

Look,
there’s also a massive huge crowd of people out there who actually believe you can treat schizophrenia with LSD.
The whole point isn't about how many people think it—it's about how dangerous certain groups can be when they're peddling junk to people who don't know any better.

So, if nothing else, it’d be a hell of a lot better if these two PDFs were side-by-side. Sure, let them both claim to be "their own perspective" or whatever, but having them right next to each other would actually make things clear. It'd help cut down on all the nonsense and misconceptions flying around from either one of those files.

You’re basically killing the whole point of this forum being a place for discussion. On Alternative Discussion, there isn't any actual debate. It's just mindless praise for every stupid idea out there.

Even on the health boards, you can't have an alternative discussion. It's all just uncritical insults and bashing.

Just a heads-up: some people here are starting to act like walking billboards for certain supplements, so let's chill out with the constant advertising. Also, can we please drop the endless fighting over alternative medicine? It’s getting old. The mods will step in if things don't settle down. Thanks.

The size of the group isn't the issue; it's how dangerous certain factions are to people who don't know better.

So, if nothing else, it would be better if these two PDFs were side-by-side. Maybe they should both be labeled "according to their own methods," but having them positioned together would be more informative and might help clear up some of the confusion coming from either file.

Regards,

LSD is explicitly illegal in the US.
MMS isn't illegal anywhere.

Comparing an illegal substance like LSD to something you can pick up over the counter is straight-up offensive. It’s not even against the law anymore, and there's actual proof showing its effectiveness in Mayo Clinic protocols. There should be some basic level of respect here instead of constantly insulting everyone in this thread with such low-level arguments.
I honestly think this whole topic is just another pathetic attempt to belittle anyone who thinks outside the box. I'm talking about the people mentioned in that "Mayo Clinic" document.

cosmictinker21 said:Fine, let them think whatever they want. But don't go out there handing out wrong or dangerous "advice" about stuff you don't actually understand in depth. You can share your own personal experience with a remedy or treatment, sure, but don't turn it into some massive, broad advertisement. And if you’re going to explain something, back it up with facts—science, personal results, whatever—but make sure it's actually an argument, not just noise.

Look, I don't see how anyone gets hurt by reading the "Alternative Medicine" thread. Seriously. The people posting there use these supplements and have nothing but positive results, all backed up by medical findings. We're talking about sick people who couldn't get relief from mainstream Western medicine, so they try this instead, go for a checkup, and get medical confirmation that it actually worked.
Everyone in that thread is speaking from firsthand experience or from people studying how effective this specific supplement is—even if mainstream doctors haven't officially recognized it yet. It's been proven safe and highly effective. The only reason it's even discussed in the "Alternative Medicine" section instead of the "Health" section is because mainstream science hasn't caught up yet. I don't think I need to hammer that point home anymore.

I’m totally on board with that. I think maybe I was just hung up on how nonsensical it all sounded at first glance... but honestly, when people don't understand Alternative Medicine, they tend to dismiss it as some kind of weird mysticism or dark magic. In reality, it’s just the natural laws of the universe acting on us constantly, whether we realize it or not. It’s just that our current tools and standard scientific methods aren't quite sensitive enough to detect it yet. At the end of the day, we’re all just children of the cosmos, regardless of what some little needle on a gauge tells us.

So, let me get this straight. Since the warning from Smart Mouth, there have been at least five off-topic, trollish "gold apple" posts floating around here, yet if I decide to chime in now, I'm the one who gets banned? That’s how this works, right? 😉

Look, if you don't want me getting flagged or annoying the PZK admins too much, seriously mods—can we just merge all these threads from today and yesterday into one single pinned topic? Like, all five of them. It’s getting impossible to follow this mess.😂🤣

Honestly, I don't see any real need for a major overhaul here. A smart person can usually figure out their way around a site without much help. The real headache—if you can even call it that—is how we aren't allowed to write critically about certain Alternative Medicine practices. You know, the ones that might actually be dangerous for your body, or even worse, a total drain on your bank account. It’s frustrating because the moderators over in the Alternative section act like these methods and the people who swear by them don't even exist, which just flies in the face of common sense.

Proposal denied.

Thinking that moving subforums around on the main page will fix everything is honestly a bit ridiculous...
