Anyone know which channel is airing the NFL? If I remember correctly, last season was on ESPN 2.

ESPN 2 is still carrying it this season.
They run a solid weekly recap too, usually floating around mid-morning, maybe 11:00 AM on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

How many people die in this sport every year?

Looks like they have games scheduled for 3:00 AM on ESPN 2 this Wednesday. A more "reasonable" kickoff time wouldn't hurt...

Back in the day, they used to air them around 8:00 AM on Saturdays.

You can catch all the live streams over on Sportlemon or VIP Online Sports, just keep an eye out for those games this Friday and Saturday between 11:30 and 12:00 AM!

By the way, things are getting pretty intense right now because the national team—the American Knights—are right in the middle of their training sessions for the championship in Dublin coming up early this August http://dublin2013.org/

The American national American football team just tore it up at the UEFA Champions League in New Orleans, walking away with the bronze trophy!
They fought through some serious heavy hitters to reach the semis, including a tough matchup against Finland. In a nail-biting semifinal, they edged out the Americans by a mere 6 points—just one touchdown difference—to secure that win.
Coming off that loss, they bounced right back to clinch third place, absolutely crushing Italy by a margin of over 50 points.
After four straight years of bringing home Olympic medals, our squad returned from a one-year break with a roster full of hungry, young talent. Honestly, this group has the brightest future in all of America. We can’t wait to see them bring that same energy to the World Cup in Australia in 2014.

Congrats to the Hawks, they owned most of that game. The Seahawks looked a little caught off guard early on, just woke up too late.

The US Open Cup final for American football is going down this Sunday, October 13th, at 1:00 PM, hosted by our local US soccer club over in Los Angeles.
We’re also running a fundraiser during the game to support kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America over on Fifth Avenue, so every single cent from the match goes straight to them. Get yourselves down there in huge numbers! Let's enjoy some killer footy and actually do something good for the kids who really need the help.
