Dakota is alright... She’s a sweet kid, though she isn't exactly little anymore, I suppose.😁 As for the movie itself? Honestly, it was a bit of a snooze. It felt more like a flashy, overproduced music video than an actual film—I didn't even bother sitting through the whole thing.🤷

Oh, no, that’s not it at all... I meant more that I felt like I hadn't been watching from the very beginning—like I'd missed something crucial... but seriously, the movie just isn't entirely clear... and I don't think it was just me.

The whole premise of this movie feels pretty played out to me... I mean, X-Men... superheroes... yeah, just a million other versions of the same old stuff. I watched it and I'd give it a 6.5/10—and honestly, there's no point in bumping that up just because some actress is in it.

The movie was great. It felt a little surreal seeing Dakota in a role like this, though—she absolutely crushed it. I never had any doubts about her acting chops to begin with. 👍

The movie looks great on screen and throws in a few decent concepts—like those characters who just won't stop screaming—and honestly, I think Dakota pulls off that whole look with the combat boots and blazer pretty well, but at the end of the day, the whole thing is just nothing special.

My English professor assigned us this reading today... and honestly? It just left me feeling annoyed. They basically ripped off Hercules... using those exact same powers he already has... fighting against evil... with characters who are just vaguely good or bad... It wasn't exactly anything to write home about. :/

Like I said, that poster is way off. Honestly, I have no clue what the producers were thinking releasing this as the official poster—given the actual content—since it clearly targets kids.

Judging by the art, you'd think it’s some bright, colorful flick, but it’s actually way darker and feels almost like a documentary.

When I caught it at a secret screening, I actually wondered if I was even watching a real movie.

Anyway, this isn't for kids, or even for families.

It's not a masterpiece, but it's not a total disaster about people with superpowers either.

man what are you even talking about... not for kids? lol... it's just basic sci-fi we've seen a million times... mutants with powers and all that crap... totally played out... 6/10😉

Just finished watching the movie—it wasn't bad, but it didn't exactly blow me away either. I'd give it a solid 3.5/5.
The special effects were definitely the highlight for me, especially that fight scene where Nick goes up against the blue agent; that was a fresh concept and really well-executed. As for the acting, aside from the guy playing Nick and Dakota, it was pretty middle-of-the-road—though, to be fair, those two actually did a great job carrying their parts.
The plot has a few holes here and there, but overall, the storytelling holds together well until the end. It actually leaves you feeling like there could be a sequel, so if one gets made, I might check it out—though I’m a bit skeptical given the box office numbers. With a $40 million budget, it only pulled in about $48 million, which isn't much... I think the studio was definitely expecting a bigger hit.
