Fernando Alonso, six fuel laps left. If he can just shave off two seconds per lap, and that top-tier car manages to find another second and a half, then the master from Asturias will cruise into the pits without a worry, top off the tank, slap on some Super Softs, grab a cappuccino, and roll back out ahead of everyone by a cool second and a half. 🙏 🙏

I reckon KERS could be the game changer here, especially if he’s got a full tank to carry. If that KERS boost kicks in right at the start, it might just decide the whole race.

The real headache is going to be the launch. If he finds himself starting from a position where the pack is going to be incredibly crowded, avoiding contact becomes a real challenge. If he can just nail that opening sequence, I think everything else will fall into place naturally.☕

Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, and Mark Webber are almost certainly going to start on those Super Soft tires. If they can actually pull off a massive speed advantage in just a few laps, it’ll be a brilliant move. Who knows what happens later? A sudden downpour, a crushing defeat, whatever. They might end up struggling with those Super Softs if things go south. Either way, I'm looking forward to a great race.👍

For Ferrari, actual progress would mean finishing a race without some massive technical meltdown. Kimi clearly had the pace; they just need him to actually cross the finish line one time so we can see where he truly stands against the rest of the field.

I’m honestly worried that reliability issues might wreck everything for the top three. We're heading into the third race, and with parts being swapped and tweaked overnight, I’ve got my doubts about whether the hardware can even hold up. The software? Fine. But the physical stuff? Not so sure.

Both Red Bulls are currently struggling with issues related to the drive shaft—or the axle, if you prefer the more technical term.

That part is obvious. But how much of an advantage are you actually expecting?

I don't think it'll be enough. If they end up stuck behind 5th or 6th place, the track will probably be greasy, making it a real pain to fight their way back through the field.

I don't think that’s going to cut it. If they end up sliding back behind 5th or 6th place, they'll be fighting uphill against much tougher competition. Making any real progress after that will be a massive struggle.
