I’ve been using Diane 35 to manage my acne, but since I’ve been on it for quite a while, my gynecologist decided to switch up my prescription and put me on Logest instead. Now, looking at the fine print on the packaging, I see that acne is actually listed as a potential side effect. Is it really possible that my doctor made a mistake here?
Logest contains 0.075mg of gestodene and 0.020mg of ethinyl estradiol, whereas Diane 35 is formulated with 2mg of cyproterone acetate and 0.035mg of ethinyl estradiol. Thanks so much in advance for any insight you can provide!
