Living with Osteoarthritis: Tips and Advice?

Hi everyone. My mother is 66 and has been battling osteoarthritis for about a decade now. It’s only getting worse. She’s incredibly resilient—swimming 25 laps a day and staying active as much as she can—but we’ve reached a wall. We've tried every medication and steroid injection imaginable, yet nothing sticks. Her specialist suggested Synocrom injections. Here in the States, a single 2 ml dose runs us $120, whereas I've seen prices abroad around $190 up to $80. Has anyone here actually used this? I'm looking for real experiences or any advice on how to better support her. Also, if I were to try ordering this from overseas, what kind of customs fees or import taxes am I looking at? I’ve recently been diagnosed with the early stages of osteoarthritis in my left shoulder. I’m dealing with frequent pain, which becomes particularly aggravating when I use my right hand for tasks like peeling potatoes or slicing vegetables. Beyond the discomfort, I’ve also noticed my left arm occasionally starts to tremor. I have already completed four sessions of physical therapy, yet my condition remains unchanged.
