I love a solid stoner flick. There’s nothing better than a comedy centered around that lifestyle. My top five look like this:

I also appreciate The Revenant starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It isn't really a stoner movie, but the cinematography featuring those lush green landscapes is incredible. I was planning on catching Pineapple Express while it's still in theaters, though word on the street is it's pretty bad... maybe I'm just hearing things.

I just sat through Pineapple Express and honestly, it was a letdown👎...Yeah, okay, the movie is loaded with weed, but it lacks that certain spark you get from something like Friday...Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a legitimate legend...And Up in Smoke? What even is that, some ancient relic?

So, Pineapple Express let you down?
Honestly, this one blows Friday out of the water. The dialogue actually hits, the humor is way sharper, and there’s an actual plot to follow. Don't get me wrong, Friday isn't a total disaster, but if we're deciding what makes a movie good based solely on two guys sitting on a porch smoking weed, then sure, let's call Friday a masterpiece. Not happening.

Back when weed was basically treated like a pack of Marlboros: you had classics like "The Magic Christian" (1968) and "Fritz the Cat" (1972).
