Does anyone happen to know which organ is located roughly 2 to 3 cm to the LEFT of the navel?? Please help!😕

It could be renal colic, an infection in the upper urinary tract, or even issues with stool impaction at the hepatic flexure 😁, among countless other possibilities... Does the pain radiate, or are there any specific triggers or accompanying symptoms?

I’m honestly stumped on what to link these "attacks" to, because food doesn't seem to be the culprit. Sometimes I think stress from work plays a part, but even then, the connection isn't super obvious. He gets deathly pale and breaks out in a cold sweat on his head—it’s rough. Occasionally, he feels a bit better if he cramps up or shifts positions, but the relief is fleeting. The pain is all over the place; he can't pin it down, though he usually clutches "up high"—the area I mentioned before. After an episode, his digestion goes totally sideways (not that it's ever been great to begin with). There have been times where he’s had a couple of beers and felt better—though that might just be because it knocks him out. Digestive aids and stomach meds don't touch it. I tried giving him some Bentyl—I used it for my gallbladder and saw it helps with various pains—and when things kick off, it seems to help, but even then, it's hit or miss.

I’m just praying it isn't anything major, because I really hope this isn't something that drags on for years without getting significantly worse. The hardest part is that he absolutely refuses to see a doctor—he’s terrified they’ll actually "find something," so he just suffers through it. It kills me to watch him like this and feel completely helpless.

I would initially consider kidney issues, though it is impossible to be certain based on such limited information. He certainly needs to be encouraged to see a doctor...
