How old is he?🤷
Plant enough spruce trees to cover a whole block, just like they did for Grandpa's big birthday back in the day.🤣

So, you’re actually celebrating the anniversary of when you first started listening to that singer? 😲 😱 Give me a break. Seriously, don't even start with me on that one. 😲
The world is honestly just going to hell. ☕

Man, 🙏
you gotta be a psychiatrist. That's where the money is—just look at all these crazy kids out there.🙏

Robin Peterson4 said:In just two days, it’s my favorite singer's birthday. Man, she’s more than just a singer to me—it’s hard to even put into words how much she means. Ever since I first heard one of her tracks and saw her name, my whole world shifted. Music has become my entire purpose; I live for those moments when I can just sit back and listen to her. She’s the muse behind some of the stories I write, the calm in my storm when life gets stressful, and honestly, she's my rock. I have other artists I enjoy, sure, but nobody compares to her. My room is basically a shrine—posters, CDs, vinyl, you name it... To put it simply: I am head over heels in love with her!!!!!!!!😳
Like I said, her birthday is coming up in two days. Because she means everything to me, this day is huge. It’s a milestone that deserves a real celebration. A few weeks ago, I actually hit my "listening anniversary"—the exact one-year mark since I first discovered her music. I spent that entire day holed up in my room, sipping champagne and looking at photos of her while her discography played on loop. So, how should I celebrate this upcoming day? What can I do to make it special?
Just a heads-up: I don't have anyone nearby to share this with. None of my friends really get into her music, and they wouldn't understand the depth of what I feel, even though I've never actually seen her perform live. Any suggestions on what I could do? I don't want to just spend the whole day listening to her again, because that's exactly how I handled my one-year anniversary. What else is there to do?
Just jump off a bridge and stop annoying us with this childish stuff.☕

you'd honestly need a psychiatry degree for this. There's money to be made if you just look at how absolutely unhinged these youngsters are nowadays.🙏
And here I was thinking I was the one who was completely losing my mind.😁

Well, placidnomad50 made a fair point... carve her name into your skin with a razor, or if you lack that particular brand of courage, just grab some ink and a needle and get it tattooed... much like how some people still sport those old US Army tattoos 😬

I might get banned for this, but I have to say it...
I called up a buddy of mine who comments on just about everything and ran this question by him. He didn't hesitate for a second: tell him he's doing drugs just like any other normal kid. What birthdays?

And honestly, I bet 99% of those tattoos ended up looking exactly like HER. 😁

Thanks, 🙂

though you could always try calling some journalist to write a little feature story about you and all that stuff. 🤷😁

I mean, what is this forum even for? It exists precisely so you can realize there are people out there dealing with way more chaotic nonsense than you are, which is basically the only reason I keep logging on myself🤣

I hit up my buddy—you know, that guy who’s got an opinion on absolutely everything—and brought this whole thing up to him. He didn't even blink. He just shot back: "Just tell him he's doing drugs like every other normal kid..." Like, seriously? Which birthday is he even talking about?
Smart move. I'm gonna fire off an email to the editors at the New York Post and the LA Times...🤣
placidnomad50 said:Let’s be real—isn't like 99% of those tattoos being done now just to look like HER? 😁
Thanks. 🙂
Off-topic.
Why don't you just call up some journalist and have them write a whole feature story about you? Or what, you want all that fame? 🤷😁
🙂🙂

feraltrucker5 said:What’s the point of this forum, then? It’s precisely so you can realize there are even more messed up people out there. That’s the only reason I keep coming back here. 🤣
hmm... 🤔
for venting, for poking fun at things, for stirring up a little revolution. 😁
slywolf65 said:Brilliant. I think I'll go ahead and send an email to the editors over at the New York Post or the Wall Street Journal... 🤣

OT
But honestly, I still find it hard to wrap my head around the idea of someone locking themselves away in a room with some non-alcoholic champagne 🤣 just to spend the whole day listening to music and staring at photos of some artist, simply because it happens to be the anniversary of the day you first started listening to them. 🙂

Robin Peterson4 said:Why on earth would I be disappointed if I actually met her? What could you possibly know about her to presume what my impressions would be if we were face to face?
By the way, I was sipping some non-alcoholic champagne; if there is one thing I am certainly not in this life, it is a smoker, a drinker, or a drug user.😉
Just tell me which singer you are referring to, and then I can tell you exactly what I know. 😬
In any case, I would wager quite heavily that your perception of her is entirely skewed. I am certain she isn't the person portrayed in the tabloids; that is all just mass-marketed fluff designed to move units and sell albums.
And I am telling you, go to a concert. And perhaps see a psychiatrist while you're at it.
