It aired at eight last night on CBS...

I was actually pretty surprised by how good it was, especially since I didn't recognize most of the cast. What did you guys think of the movie?

Good movie? ... Honestly, it was a total disaster...

It was pretty good for me too ☕
Plus, the cast isn't even that obscure: you've got Leeloo Sobieski (the girl) and that guy from Sex and the City

So you're asking how it was for us?🤷

Honestly, I was in a coma... saw it ages ago..☕

I mean, they aren't exactly nobodies... Leelee Sobieski is pretty huge in the States—she was actually in Eyes Wide Shut—plus you've got Stellan Skarsgard playing Bill Gates in Pirates of the Caribbean, and don't even get me started on Chris Noth, everyone knows him.🙄

The movie itself? Honestly, it’s nothing to write home about artistically. It definitely doesn't have that big Hollywood blockbuster energy. In fact, if it wasn't for the tension, it would probably just be total garbage. But hey, like someone already pointed out, to each their own. ☕

I think this is actually the second time I've caught this movie playing on CBS..
It’s a decent enough watch, all things considered.

I don't know, I just felt a little silly watching that kid run off with her brother during that massive storm, especially since they ended up getting caught by those guys right away... it felt kind of pointless to me.

I have to admit, I was genuinely surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this movie👍, especially since it was just playing on the TV channel 😁

The movie's alright, I guess, but there are definitely some filler scenes that just drag on for nothing...

Wait, wasn't Diana Lane (the doctor who dies at the end 😂) nominated for an Oscar?
How can you say the actors were unknown?

So why are we talking about random nobodies?

Sry, I've never even heard of them.

I thought it was actually pretty decent
it's just that one villain... seriously, someone needs to take him out already 🙄

The movie's actually decent, and honestly, the cast is pretty stacked with big names. Even that kid in it—I think he was in Jurassic Park III, if I remember right (not that I’m gonna go check now)

And look... people under 20 just don't have much of a cinematic foundation or actor knowledge in their heads anyway...

The most tragic part for me? They totaled a Jaguar and a Ferrari at the end. If this were some German production, they probably would've just used an old Ford or a beat-up BMW and scraped them against a fence.😂

Look, it doesn't exactly grip you like an Alfred Hitchcock thriller, but you can't call it bad. Decent plot. Solid acting. It's fine, I guess...

Yes, the cars seem to carry more weight than the entire plot combined.😂
If this were a German show like Cobra 11, they wouldn't be smashing high-end luxury cars; they’d just be constantly totaling some cheap sedans.🙂

The movie isn't bad, per se, but it starts feeling pretty tedious after a while.
I honestly don't see myself sitting through this one more than twice.
