Jason Statham is pretty much the last true action hero with actual charisma left, especially since Bruce Willis is mostly retired from the gunfights these days. He’s back as Frank Martin in this explosive third installment of his hit series— "Transporter".
The first two flicks were just pure, fun, mindless action with that over-the-top comic book vibe. They had that specific charm you only found in those late 80s and early 90s movies starring Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Willis, Seagal, and van Damme—stuff you just don't see anymore.
Basically, you aren't supposed to take T1 or T2 seriously. You just sit back, turn off your brain, and enjoy the car chases, the fights, the sweet rides, and the gorgeous women...
It looks like "Transporter III" isn't going to change the formula at all 🙂. One thing is different: Louis Leterrier isn't directing this time. He moved on to tackle The Incredible Hulk, but it seems like Olivier Megaton is doing a solid job stepping in... though we'll have to actually watch the movie to be sure.

I haven't sat down to watch the first one yet, but the second movie was a blast, so I'm definitely checking out the third.

If this turns out to be even half as good as the second one, we’re looking at the definitive action movie of the year—hands down. 🙏 🙏 🙏

It'll happen... honestly, what wouldn't? You can't go wrong with the transporter and Statham... it’s guaranteed entertainment.

If it pulls in what the first two did (the 1st made $25M, the 2nd made $43M) and considering the budget is low—around $30M—it'll be a win.

As for the car... some forums are saying it's an S8... I wouldn't know for sure though... I don't know much about cars, lol.

I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking from this movie, but I don't think two hours of screen time will feel like a chore.

Jason Statham in that campy version of Prison Break? I find that hard to swallow—anyway, I’m checking IMDb right now and I don't see Statham listed in PB at all.🙂
