The Cutters was actually shown back in 2006 during a festival in Napa Valley, though I think they listed it under the title Pizza Hut at the time.
The DVD finally dropped on March 25th, but obviously, you won't find it sitting on any shelves here in the States. That said, you can always catch it on... well, you know where 😬

I think they're still playing over at Lincoln Center here in Washington, D.C.... or maybe not? 😬

I don't know, the movie just didn't click for me. I've always been interested in the topic of suicide, but I tend to prefer much more realistic portrayals of the issue.

First off, the concept itself is killer. The idea that when people take their own lives, they end up in this... awful place, like a version of hell. I'm not crazy about the whole "main characters" thing, but whatever...
I think the director nailed it, even if the actors aren't huge stars and the production company was kind of low-budget...
But honestly, even though the cast isn't super famous, they fit the movie perfectly...

We all wonder where we go when we die. This movie just shows us a world where suicides end up...

After watching it, you realize how much life is worth and that it's never too late to start really living...

So yeah...
That's why I dig it...

If he’d actually played Eugene Hutz from Gogol Bordello, just like Dukić wanted... that guy with the mustache is basically him.

Caught a screening today... plot drags a bit, but the movie's alright...
got some funny moments though—the soundtrack and dialogue are definitely the highlights
