If you ask me, both we and the Norwegians played equally terrible (we won a game despite having 15 turnovers 🤷!), but the bottom line is that the refs pushed us through. Honestly, if this match had been played in the States and the refs called the game that way against an American opponent, I guarantee those officials wouldn't have made it out of the arena in one piece.

BTW, did anyone catch that moment where the ref walked up to Balić near the nine-meter line and whispered something to him? You rarely see a scene like that on a professional court. Who knows what he was actually telling him 🙂

Look, I haven't read that controversial article in ESPN, I’m not currently in Norway, I don't need to prep the squad for a deciding game against the Norwegians, I’m not stuck in a time zone difference, and... well, you get the idea. When is he actually supposed to find the time to read news from back home???

Vukić is good too, but it looks like Duvnjak has to be in the lineup, which leaves zero room for anyone else at left wing.

Honestly, look, I know we all saw it—it’s the truth, and God knows they weren't exactly playing at their best. But I don't think they ever really had that one moment where everyone was perfectly in sync on the court together. Just imagine if this team actually had a day where every single player found their rhythm and played at their absolute peak. If that happens, they could easily hold Denmark to a 15-point gap, or maybe even push the French team back by 25. ☕

I wouldn't say the refs were anything special either. Those Norwegians were throwing elbows all over the defense. The highlight was definitely that foul on the attack when Metličić took one right to the eye.
