House on Haunted Hill (2007)

I think it’ll work for hardcore horror fans who don't mind if the plot feels a bit familiar... or even recycled from something else. Personally, I live for horror, so the repetition doesn't bother me much.

So I finally sat down to watch that movie on Saturday night... ended up nodding off a few times toward the end.
Total snooze fest.

So I started watching this thing maybe a week ago and I literally passed out mid-episode and woke up the next morning slumped over my armchair 🤣
I haven't really felt like picking it back up since...

Caught this a few months back... and honestly, I lost my mind...

The director is a complete hack who clearly went out of his way to ruin everything that actually worked in the first movie...

From the ultra-lame jokes that even a middle schooler would find cringey, to the sloppy execution, terrible acting, nonsensical plot, and bottom-tier special effects—it’s easily one of the worst films ever made. 🤮

So, here's my advice: if you actually liked the original, just DO NOT WATCH the sequel...

I'm really not a fan of movies that just try to ride the coattails of some old classic, but I guess I'll still check this one out since I'm a sucker for horror

Ugh, I don't know... it wasn't really my thing, I guess.
It’s more like one of those movies you put on late at night just to shake off the sleepiness—nothing more than that, really.

I'll definitely be checking this movie out.

The first one was a total disaster—so this one could easily be even worse.

You're better off watching "House on Haunted Hill" starring Vincent Price instead...

Just a total dud of a movie.

House on Haunted Hill (1959) is the original, House on Haunted Hill (1999) is the remake, and House on Haunted Hill (2007) is a sequel to that remake. ☕
