How to hardcode subtitles into movies!

Does anyone know which program I should use to hardcode subtitles into movies?
I really need some help here!!!🤷

Or just grab Total Video Converter and call it a day.

So, I was wondering... where on earth can a person actually find decent subtitles these days?

just hop on Google, search for DivX subtitles, and hit the first site that pops up

So, I’ve got this Apple device that handles DivX, right? But whenever I burn a standard CD-R with a movie and a separate SRT subtitle file, the subtitles just don't show up—it's like they don't even exist to the machine. Does anyone happen to know a good program for "hardcoding" subtitles directly into DivX files? Basically, I just want to watch an AVI movie with the subs baked in so my Apple can actually read them...
