So, I just saw a neurologist at the Mayo Clinic. I went through all the scans and tests, and it turns out I have mild scoliosis. The real issue, though, is that this slight curve is pinching a nerve on the right side of my back. I’ve already tried physical therapy and even some nerve blocks to numb the area, but nothing has worked. It’s actually getting worse every single day. The pain is constant—from the moment I get out of bed until I take my medication. When I try to explain this to my doctor or physical therapist, they just wave me off, basically telling me I’m too young to be in this much pain. I’m at a loss. I’m honestly willing to try a chiropractor if they can do something about this nerve. If anyone here has successfully dealt with nerve issues, please let me know who you saw and what helped. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, just go find yourself a different doctor or a physical therapist, because yours clearly don't have a clue what they're doing. I dealt with something pretty similar recently, though mine was more of a short-lived thing—it basically just cleared itself up over time without much fuss.
I’d also suggest finding someone to give you a daily massage right on that spot. It might actually help.

Didn't you try seeing anyone about it?

It hit me because I was obviously lifting things the wrong way (I was helping an old guy move some boxes of tiles and bags of cement). It killed me for a solid week, but it’s pretty much gone now. All I really did was try to lie flat on my back, do some basic physical therapy stretches for my spine, and nag my sister a few times to give me a massage right on the spot.
But if you're dealing with what you described, honestly, just find a real doctor. The ones you're talking about sound like they've completely lost their minds.

I’ve been dealing with this for three years now, so be glad your situation isn't mine. I’m still asking for anyone with actual information on this to reach out.
