Ingrown toenails

I could really use some advice here. I’ve been dealing with a subcutaneous cyst since early July, and I just can't seem to get rid of it. Every time I try to squeeze it, it triggers this massive inflammation where it swells up by a good couple of inches; the swelling eventually subsides after a few days, but it always leaves behind this bruised, swollen bump. This has been going on for about eight months now. What should my next move be? I've tried every topical cream imaginable, but nothing works. When I try to pressure it, the discharge looks almost like water. Please help, because I'm honestly at my wit's end.

That looks like an infection to me. It might be a boil rather than just a pimple.
If it hasn't come to a head yet, don't try to squeeze it. Go see a doctor. It could be infected, and you might need antibiotics. They should probably refer you to a dermatologist.
I'm long past puberty, but I still deal with breakouts. A dermatologist once put me on antibiotics because it was bacterial. Now I get them all over the place...

That sounds miserable; I really feel for you. You should see a dermatologist or your primary care physician—they’ll likely prescribe some antibiotics for it.

I once dealt with an inflammation along my jawline that looked like a pimple, but it was actually sitting right over a vein. I ended up taking penicillin because the infection was quite nasty.

If you’re positive it’s cystic, go with Diacneal or Dr. Wolf BP—I’ve heard those actually work for deep breakouts.
I’m thinking about trying Diacneal myself since I deal with the same stuff.

Go see a dermatologist immediately.
They will likely prescribe a topical antibiotic, or maybe an oral one.
Once the infection clears, the inflammation can be treated with topical hydrocortisone. Dermatologists can also inject hydrocortisone directly into the cyst itself. Just keep in mind there's a risk—it could leave a scar or a "pit" in the skin compared to the surrounding area.

That’s not a subcutaneous cyst; it’s likely an atheroma or maybe a lipoma. It needs to be surgically cleared out and, depending on how big it is, stitched up with a few sutures. Don't go squeezing it or slathering creams on it—you aren't going to get anywhere with that.
