I'm running Windows 8, and honestly, there isn't much of a difference compared to 7, except that the interface looks completely different now. That main landing screen... I guess the Nero start smart and Nero burning ROM parts just had some tiny icon tweaks. They're barely even noticeable. 😬
Anyway, it looks nice enough, but the actual functionality is pretty much identical. It's fine by me, I suppose. β˜•

Microsoft Windows 8 is quite something. Honestly, version 8 is a bit of a letdown, whereas version 6 was actually useful for things like DVD disc patching.
