Numb or tingling finger

Might sound kind of weird, but last week when it was heating up, my toe suddenly started going numb. Now the whole thing just feels... off. Like it's constantly stiff or something. Any idea why that might be happening?

I’m dealing with the exact same thing, and honestly, it's such a pain. Every single pair of shoes feels uncomfortable on my right foot... My mom thinks it might be because I broke it when I was a kid, but I find that a little hard to believe since that was probably over twelve years ago...

So, here’s the deal. About a month ago, my toes on both my left and right feet just went numb, and honestly, they haven't come back to life since.
On my left foot, it’s specifically the right side around the nail—just that one half underneath the nail area... and the exact same thing is happening on my right foot too. It doesn't actually hurt or anything, but the sensation is just... gone. And now I'm starting to get a little worried about it...
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this???

I used to deal with this quite a bit back when I was spending hours on end cycling all over the place. Once I cut back on the long rides, the whole issue just seemed to vanish. Go see a doctor immediately to get your spine checked out. If you're already linking this to your back pain, we aren't talking about something minor anymore. This could be serious.

I dealt with a nearly identical issue about a year ago. It persisted for roughly a month, and during that time, I didn't take any action—aside from worrying my head off 🙏..—and eventually, it just resolved itself. It was likely some minor nerve impingement or something similar. That said, if this doesn't clear up shortly, I strongly suggest seeking medical advice.

I’m asking because of the ulnar nerve, which is linked directly to the pinky finger...
That tingling and stabbing sensation is medically referred to as paresthesia; you might want to look that up online to see what you can find. If it doesn't subside, go see a doctor...

I really doubt this is anything serious or linked to some neurological disorder. The pinky finger is serviced by branches from the C8 nerve root—so, if you had issues with your cervical spine, you might feel some tingling in those specific areas. Honestly, my guess? You probably just slept on it wrong and compressed a nerve, causing that numbness. It's likely just minor compression damage that'll clear up on its own. If it doesn't go away in a day or two, just go see a doctor at the Mayo Clinic.
