Do we actually need The Godfather Part IV?

Who needs a fourth installment? Even the third one felt excessive, though I suppose it worked well enough to wrap everything up into a cohesive story.

Half of the original cast has either passed away or aged out of their roles. Just swapping actors wouldn't cut it; it would have felt off from the very start.

Yeah, Part 4, where we get the backstory about how Vito Corleone’s ancient ancestor kicked those Saracen printers out of Sicily back in the 12th century. 🤣 Honestly, forget a sequel. I’d much rather see someone film a brand-new story that actually gets us fired up. The Corleones aren't the only mafia story out there, no matter how well they tell it. I think Part 3 was great, though—it wrapped everything up perfectly for me.
