I am nineteen years old, and I have contended with various rashes and eczema since my infancy. My most severe episode occurred during a childhood summer when my entire body was covered from head to toe in red crusting, an affliction that proved entirely unresponsive to any topical creams.
Upon entering puberty, the condition seemed to stabilize somewhat, and these outbreaks became less frequent. Nevertheless, I still experience a recurring redness under my left armpit every single summer, which typically subsides after about ten days.
At present, this redness has returned, accompanied by red scabs across my chest and abdomen.
I have a doctor's appointment scheduled for tomorrow, though I question the utility of such visits; invariably, I am simply prescribed creams that offer negligible relief before the cycle repeats itself. Does anyone have alternative methods for managing this, or perhaps some personal experiences to share?
