Roche Interferon: Side effects and experiences?

I’m about to start on Roche soon—my doctor was being all cautious about the side effects, which honestly just freaked me out a bit—so I was wondering if anyone here has actually dealt with the injections? If you have, please, tell me everything you went through

Dealing with high platelet counts for years now...

I was on those Roche injections. Man, the side effects were brutal—it felt like I was coming down with a massive flu. Just constant fever, shivering, and feeling totally wiped out. It would last about three or four hours and then just vanish like nothing ever happened.

So, basically, you get the shot, your body reacts for a few hours, and then it just... passes?
I mean, how long does that actually last—days? Weeks? I think I totally misunderstood my doctor—I might have gotten it wrong—but I was under the impression the side effects stick around for like, two weeks or something.

I was hitting the clinic three times a week for those shots, and honestly? It barely lasted a few hours before it wore off.
