So, this is where it all begins.
The 1910s through the 1920s!
Could someone perhaps provide a few names? I am not interested in actresses—just the actors.
Feel free to include anyone from Europe or the US.
Personally, I don't seem to know anyone from the era prior to the thirties!

Thanks in advance.

Just head over to IMDb.
Go ahead and look through the cast list, filter by minor roles, and cross-reference their birth years;
then you can see for yourself who actually has a more impressive filmography.

Theda Bara, Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, Fatty Arbuckle, Lillian Gish, Buster Keaton, Gloria Swanson... all directed by icons like Cecil B. DeMille, John Ford, D. W. Griffith, Mack Sennett, and Erich von Stroheim.

By the time the 1920s rolled around, Rudolph Valentino and Greta Garbo were already starting to run the show.

I don't know much about the scene over in Europe, aside from the Swedish genius Victor Sjöström—who some might recognize as Professor Borg from the Bergman film "Wild Strawberry." It’s a real shame that so many of his films have been lost or are just impossible to find, especially considering he's basically one of the founding fathers of European cinema.

Thanks a million!!!!! Could you give me some more recommendations for men? These women are absolutely stunning, but I actually need some male actors for a little side project I'm working on.

Can anyone point me toward a site with some more... provocative content?
