How do I download videos from YouTube?

If you're looking to grab videos from YouTube, I've found that save2pc light is probably your best bet.
You can snag it online for free—it lets you download clips in pretty much any format you need.

I don't get why people don't just pull the video straight from the cache and rename the extension to *.flv—it’s just double the bandwidth when the file is already sitting right there on your hard drive.

Just grab VLC Media Player from their site and get it installed.
Then, whenever you land on a video page, just hover your mouse over it and it should give you the option to download it.
I guess this might be the easiest way to go about it.

If you want the easiest way to handle this—especially if you’re trying to grab something like ten videos at once—this is it.
