Hey everyone..
Since none of the treatments listed in medical journals have actually done anything to clear up my seborrheic dermatitis... I did some digging online and found out that tea tree oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties—plus all the usual claims. So, I've decided to start applying it to my face twice a day, morning and night. I’m hoping I can stick with this for a full month. The pharmacist at CVS told me it's fine to use on the skin as long as it's 100% pure essential oil without any additives, which is exactly what I picked up from Spring.
Has anyone here tried this yet? Honestly, I'm just exhausted by the constant doctor visits and the endless cycle of switching medications. I finally went over to the clinic for a skin swab, which confirmed the presence of *Malassezia* yeast—the usual culprits behind seborrhea—so now I'm just hoping this tea tree oil does the trick and clears them out.
