What exactly is the point of this thing, and how am I supposed to actually use it? πŸ™ˆ

The first one is multi-quoteβ€”you click that on any posts you want to cite, then hit post reply. That way you can include quotes from multiple users in a single post.

The second is fast replyβ€”it just pulls that specific post down into the quick reply box.

Right now, neither function is actually enabled, so they're pretty much useless. πŸ™‚

Hey there. πŸ™‚

Has this thing ever actually workedβ€”and more importantlyβ€”is it ever going to work? 😡

It didn't happen, and frankly, it most likely never will. πŸ™‚

I am under the firm impression that those two buttons serve absolutely no functional purpose whatsoever and exist purely for aesthetic appeal πŸ˜•

Is there any way to quote multiple posts at once?

Right now, if I want to reply to several different people, my current workflow involves opening the forum in a separate window just so I can copy and paste everything back into my own thread... It feels incredibly tedious. Is there perhaps a more streamlined method for handling this?

edit: I don't mean using the multi-quote feature, but rather pulling from several distinct users simultaneously...

I have a question of my own: the multi-quote feature used to work for me, but only for a brief period. Now, whenever I want to quote multiple users in a single post, I have to open up Notepad, paste all the quotes there, and then paste everything back into my reply. It isn't an impossible taskβ€”I’ve been doing this for months nowβ€”but if the feature actually exists, why on earth shouldn't I be using it?

Why is my multi-quote function broken? I assume this is just happening to me...

Why is the multi-quote feature failing to function for me? I suspect this is an isolated issue affecting only my account.

It isn’t exactly a crisis since I’ve grown accustomed to this tedious workaround over the last few months, but if the functionality actually exists, why on earth am I being forced to ignore it?

Is the multi-quote feature broken for everyone else, or am I just having some uniquely frustrating technical difficulties here? It feels like this issue is targeting me specifically.

Hannah Brooks86 said:Why on earth isn't the multi-quote feature working for me? I can only assume this is some localized glitch happening exclusively on my end.

To multi-quote any of the posts you want to respond to, just click that little icon to the right of the "quote" buttonβ€”you know, the one with the double quotation marks on it. Last one. If you want to see what I posted above, any multi-quota spammer just needs to hit that "quote" button.

It’s not really a technical glitch or anything, I just wasn't sure who to ask here.

Does anyone know how to pull off a quote like this when starting a new thread?
