blood clotting tests / coagulation panels
So, I’ve got this weird issue where my scabs take forever to heal—like, we're talking a full year sometimes. That definitely doesn't seem right, I guess. My doctor hasn't really said anything about it yet, which is kind of annoying, but does anyone here know how to actually fix this? I just want to get rid of the problem because honestly, even the tiniest little scratch stays open for what feels like a hundred years.
thanks🙂

Let's try to bring a little bit of order to these posts of yours:
Since you mentioned your scabs are taking forever to heal—did your primary care doctor send you for some blood clotting tests, and were the results looking off?

Have you actually seen a specialist yet?
What was the word from your GP?
And how many times did you have to go back for more testing?

So, I’ve spent basically this entire year running every single test under the sun—blood sugar, iron levels, hormones, seeing endocrinologists, infectious disease specialists, dermatologists, OB-GYNs, you name it,
everything came back "normal," yet nobody could tell me what the hell was actually wrong with me.
They just threw some random creams at me—some Bepanthen and an iodine ointment from a brand like Johnson & Johnson—telling me to just slather it on, but honestly? It did absolutely nothing.
After a while, I just kind of hit a wall and gave up on the whole thing.
But then, I had a follow-up with my gynecologist recently to talk about birth control, and she scribbled in my chart that I could start once my coagulation levels improve... and it turns out that's actually about how my blood clots. Now I'm starting to think maybe there's a connection here, and I have no clue what to do next.
I’ll be real with you—the thought of dragging myself back to a doctor makes me want to scream, even though I know I probably have to go.
Does anyone here actually understand how this works? Like, is the clotting issue definitely linked to what I'm dealing with, and is there anything at all I can do on my own to get ahead of this?
Thanks.
