So, I caught this flick a few days ago. Honestly? It’s absolute garbage. But man, is it good! Like, it’s basically a guy's fever dream brought to life. If I had to sum up the whole plot in just one sentence, it would be:

It’s easily one of the biggest Kung Fu hits of the last decade—mostly because of all those gorgeous women in bikinis.

It’s got vibes from Kill Bill, every classic hero story you can think of, those old-school dragon movies, (you know, that Jet Li flick where he pokes people with acupuncture needles?), Mortal Kombat, the Matrix... you name it. Except about 90% of the runtime is just skin, and maybe 10% is actual clothes. By my definition, it’s the perfect movie for any real man out there.

You might have some decent moments there, but that’s hardly enough to justify calling the movie a masterpiece. Besides, that was more than enough reason for me to stop wasting my time on those mindless flicks that rely solely on eye candy to lure people in. 🙄

Man, you clearly aren't a real man😬

But this flick doesn't just have "eye candy"—it's got Matrix vibes, Kill Bill energy, and even a little bit of hero flavor... plus you've got that hot pink-haired ninja girl and that stunning blonde redneck babe in denim...

How can a movie featuring this clip possibly be bad? (Just hit that blue button, ignore the American warning saying the clip isn't for kids under 18)

I have porn for that.🤣

Nothing beats Matrix, Kill Bill, or Hero.🙏 🙏

Female ninjas don't exist.👎

It can be good. If I'm going to watch an action flick led by a woman, let it be someone like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill, not these idiots trying to imitate Charlie's Angels. Absolute trash.

Playing a game is basically the same reason you sit down to watch a movie 🙂

But hey, you gotta admit—there's always those total slackers out there!

Richard Wilson4 said:Honestly, playing games is exactly like watching a movie—you do it for the exact same reasons! It’s all about that feeling, you know? That total immersion where you just lose track of time and everything else just fades into the background. Whether you're sitting there with a bucket of popcorn staring at a screen or holding a controller, you're chasing that same rush of emotion and storytelling. It's all about the experience, man! 🙂

I wouldn't call myself a gamer—not even close! Honestly, I think I’ve maybe played three whole games in the last decade. Though, let’s be real, sometimes work actually *forces* you to play. I spent some time working on projects porting BREW games, but my real "gaming" sessions happened back when I was at Sun Microsystems. I was working on that then-brand-new Java ME virtual machine—JP-7, baby! Woohoo! My code was finally out in the wild, reaching millions of people! But man, testing that VM was a trip. They had this massive QA department—like, two hundred people in an overseas office basically living in a gaming sweatshop—just grinding through J2ME titles all day. And they’d report bugs like, "Hey, in this specific game, if you grab the red key on level 12, the audio just cuts out." And then you have to sit there and actually play all the way up to level 12 just to reproduce it. LOL. Absolute nightmare. Then there was this one time I got absolutely wrecked by a bug in a 3D engine for an American football game. I don't even know the rules of football, mind you, so I was just running around aimlessly and tossing the ball everywhere until something happened. I knew I was supposed to be gaining yards, but I had zero clue how to actually make that happen without the whole phone just freezing up. It would usually crash after about ten minutes of me running in circles. So, yeah... if you can imagine that kind of headache, you can probably see why I'm not exactly itching to pick up a controller for fun!
