I'm looking to pick up some Mars Volta vinyls, though I've already got Bedlam in Goliath and Scab Dates covered. Just looking for stuff in mint or near-mint condition, if you know what I mean

I’m looking for some guidance... I have about a hundred vinyl records I’m looking to offload. It’s a mix of domestic hits and international classics, though I suspect the local artists might not be in high demand these days. On the American side, I've got names like Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers, John Denver, Cyndi Lauper, and Tina Turner... but for the local stuff, it's more along the lines of classic crooners and pop icons you'd find on a standard US radio station. I'm torn on the best approach: is it better to just haul the whole lot down to a local used bookstore and take whatever meager amount they offer... or should I attempt to sell them one by one for a few bucks a piece, though I have my doubts anyone would actually be interested?

Honestly, hit up a used bookstore. When you get paid, just grab the cash and bolt 😁

People have started reaching out again, so I’ll hold off on contacting the antique dealer for now. Here is what I currently have available if anyone is interested:

Classic Rock LP - Yu Grupa Self-Titled Debut

Cover is in solid VG+ condition, though the vinyl itself is sitting at a VG

There’s definitely some surface noise—you'll hear that light crackling during the quiet parts—but nothing skips, which is the main thing. The jacket has a little bit of shelf wear around the edges, just from being handled over the years

Wait, is that what we were doing out on that cruise ship? 😬

slyorca62 said:I am looking to buy some Mars Volta vinyl—though I'll pass on Bedlam in Goliath and Scab Dates—strictly seeking high-quality, mint condition copies.

Well now... I'm also in the market, but honestly, once I see those price tags (excluding the ones mentioned—Bedlam and Scab Dates), I practically lose consciousness. I can't justify anything under $133 roughly
per record.

restlessdrifter692 said:Was that the one we went all out on back on the cruise? 😬

Man, is that you? I've been keeping an eye on that since back then, honestly wondering if I ever even listened to her. Looks like she’s heading out for a major promotion and some pocket change.
The trade was stronger, too.😉
