To be clear—these CDs are in pristine condition, completely untouched. I’m offering one disc for $17 (considering they go for over $40 at major retailers like Target or Best Buy), but if you want to grab all three—perhaps as a gift for a friend or for resale purposes—you can have the whole set for $33.

Message me privately to work out the details.

Still available.

For all the jazz and blues enthusiasts out there, I've got two essential titles for you:
Sanders

Soundgarden-Ultramega OK (SST, U.S.A.)
Brand new, still in the original shrink wrap. I guess it could be a cool swap for some Nick Cave, Butthole, The Residents, or Einsturzende Neubauten records since they're all in such killer shape.

Killing joke-What's this for...! EX/EX (1st press, EG Records, USA)
Maybe also a good trade for those same artists mentioned above.

Shoot me a PM for info

Willing to let everything go🙂

I am currently in the process of acquiring cassette tapes and CDs for the first three albums by General Danger.

Hey, can anyone give me an appraisal on these records? I’ve got an old gramophone from 1907, and these were played on it—so we’re looking at stuff that’s at least 105 years old.

I wasn't sure exactly what details you'd need from the labels, so I'll list what I think matters. Feel free to grill me if you need more info:

1. Columbia Records, La Moche (R. Avilar) - Tango Argentina, Made in Italy
2. "La voce del padrone", Notte e di - Canz, ritmo allegro, Fabbricato in Italy
3. Orthophonic Recording, Victor, LL'ISOLA d, Parte 1, parte 2, New York City
4. Victrola, Lucia - Tu che a dio spiegasti, Beniamino Gigli
5. Odeon, Tanco della sirena
6. Odeon, i giomelli della mamma
7. Columbia Records - Amo Tea
8. Columbia Records - Canzone D'hawa
9. -=- - La bajadera
10. Disco "Gramophone", Selig bin ich, selib bleibuich - Valzer cantabile
11. Columbia Records - Perche taci?
12. Sonart Record Corporation, New York City - domovina i ljubav, Zinka Milanov i Split
13. Harmony - as time goes by i What are thinkin' about, baby
14. Victor, There+s new starin heaven tonight (Rudolph Valentino)
15. ASCH international, Who knows Him (v. klodin and a.prokoshin) i By the village
16. Pathé, artuelle, Loreley (Catalani) i Iris (Mascagni)
17. Barbonate musicali, New York City
18. Canta napulitano, Disco gramophone
19. Holy War
20. Varsity, made in USA, All aboard - F. T. i Sunday special
22. Peter Frampton - I'm in you
23. Dunhill - get a feelin', The mama's and papa's i Monday
24. Belgrade Radio - Demis Roussos
21. Crown - one hour with you
22. Victrola - forza del destino finale

There’s plenty more where that came from; this is just a rough sample to see if any of this is actually worth anything. Thanks.

Anyone looking to sell a George Michael vinyl? I'm buying.

I'm no expert, but it looks like you've got a good amount of old 78 RPM records here—mostly operas and things like that. I'm not entirely sure they're all over 100 years old (rob: [pauses] "is that Peter fucking Frampton?") 🙂

The market for this kind of stuff isn't exactly huge. Which means, if you're looking to actually get a decent price, the smartest move is probably to put them all on eBay and just wait patiently for one of those rare collectors to show up (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/RUFFO-ISCHIER...item484c9ab1de)
If you try to sell the whole collection to somewhere like an antique shop, you'll likely end up with a pretty measly amount.

Each listing shows the condition grading, starting with the sleeve followed by the vinyl itself.

I am also open to trades for CDs.

Local pickup is available in New York City.

Grading System

M (Mint)
The record is brand new, as if it just left the factory—sometimes still sealed; the sleeve is nearly flawless.

Nm (Near Mint)
The record has been played a few times and might have tiny surface marks that don't affect sound quality; the sleeve has almost no edge wear.

Ex (Excellent)
The record is in great shape. It may have minor blemishes or light surface scratches from frequent play, but there isn't much surface noise. The sleeve might show slight wear on corners or edges or be slightly faded.

VG + (very good plus)
The record has been played extensively. You might notice more surface noise or some light scratches, but it won't skip while playing. The jacket might show some wear on the corners or edges, perhaps some writing or stickers, and could be slightly faded.

VG (very good)
The record is visibly in rougher shape, featuring significant surface noise and crackling, though it shouldn't skip during playback. The jacket may have tears, tape repairs, or noticeable fading.

G (good)
Either the record or the jacket is in quite poor condition—essentially just worth keeping for archival purposes until you can track down a better copy. If it's a superior pressing, even a "good" grade record can sound decent, which is especially true for singles.

Thanks for the reply. 🙂
I realized later on that they aren't all a century old either. 😁
Can you give me an idea of what these kinds of records usually go for? I'm totally lost. I could list them on eBay, but I have no clue what prices to set. 🤷
