Music Marketplace (Vinyl, CDs, Cassettes...)

Is there anyone else out there who’s realized that the Butthole Surfers' *Independent Worm Saloon* album is just... I don't know, so bad that you'd rather sell it for pennies or maybe just give it away to someone who actually likes this stuff?
If you're out there and you totally feel me on this, shoot me a DM. I'll be waiting.

I’m not kidding around here. This isn't some joke: I am seriously clearing out my entire collection of about 300 titles, and I'll let YOU set the price.
Of course, the offers have to be somewhat reasonable (I mean, 1 LP for $0.33 is just not gonna happen)

It’s clearly not a joke—you've already repeated 😁 several times within this thread—so perhaps you'd find it more efficient to just c/p the full list and all the relevant vinyl details right here.

edit: My apologies, I just spotted your listing on eBay, so I might reach out to you there instead. I still need to look over a few items from your list... though, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to post the list here as well.

gentlecrane9 said:Selling some CDs:

Bon Jovi - Lost Highway
Queens Of The Stone Age - Era Vulgaris
The White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan

They're basically brand new—I've only listened to each one once. Asking $13 per disc, or you can grab the whole lot for $33 plus shipping. Shoot me a DM if you're interested! 🙂

I'm happy to negotiate on the price, too, so don't be shy... 😉

Here’s the link for the rest: http://www.ebay.com/itm/vinyl-records-listing-example
Just so we're clear, I'm not interested in any offers for just one copy of the 1 E either.
Seriously, who am I even dealing with here!?

It’s a long shot getting anyone to bite at that price point, especially if you're trying to move 300 records all at once.

I'm sending you a DM regarding one of them—let's talk about a price based on what I saw on eBay...

Honestly, don't even bother stressing over it. The prices are already set—just stick to what's listed on Craigslist. Plus, the guy was being super rude and actually cussed me out on his way out.

northerndrifter6 said:Here’s the link for the rest: http://www.craigslist.org/vinyl-records-for-sale-6836876
I should probably point out that even an offer of $1 per record isn't going to cut it here.
Honestly, who am I even dealing with!?

In that case, just list your absolute minimum price and let's call it a day.

Otherwise—and I mean this quite sincerely—my husband was actually looking to pick up a few specific things from you. But this current situation... it's all a bit much, I suppose; especially for certain titles.

The whole thing falls apart for me at once—I mean, I don't know who exactly has the luxury of just dropping cash on this right now unless they're a dedicated collector. I assume those people already own half of everything anyway. For me, buying even half of this wouldn't make sense, since I already have quite a collection, and frankly, a larger bulk deal would be more enticing if we were talking about those high-value LPs that actually cost a decent amount of money.

Gotta clear out some space! Selling 10 CDs for $5.00 plus shipping. Can drop them off at a local FedEx Office if that's easier:

Peter Koppes—just a total manchild living a legend that doesn't exist.
Night diving isn't just dark; it’s a different dimension. You’re out there navigating through these massive, shifting ink blots that look like they’re reaching for you. It’s easy to lose your bearings when the light doesn't travel far enough to show you where the floor actually ends. It's like trying to drive a car through a thick fog in downtown Chicago at 3 AM—you know the road is there, but everything looks like a ghost until you’re right on top of it. One minute you think you're hovering over a reef, the next you realize you're staring into a void. Stay sharp and watch your buddy. Shadows play tricks on your head faster than you can blink.
The Fall - The 27 Points (Double CD)

I don't know who needs to hear this, but stop acting like vinyl is some holy relic just because you bought one record at a local shop in Brooklyn. It’s just plastic spinning in circles. If you want to pretend you're a high-fidelity snob, go ahead, but let's not kid ourselves.

Mainly looking for alt/indie, pop, wave, 80's stuff—that kind of vibe.
Hit me up via PM.

"Worry Bomb"... I had this on a cassette when I was sixteen, moved to a CD by twenty, and finally settled on a double vinyl at twenty-five (and I'll probably keep it forever). Such a beautiful, beautiful album 🙂

🙂

Yeah, but I've already got a duplicate from when I was "living at Madison Square Garden," so this one's just extra...
