Man, there’s just nothing quite like catching Deftones live when they’re actually in the zone. You know that feeling where the room gets heavy, almost suffocating, right before the first chord hits? It’s that specific kind of sonic weight that most bands can’t even touch. I was spinning some live tracks recently and it hit me all over again—that raw, unhinged energy they bring to the stage is leagues beyond their studio polish. When Chino starts drifting between those ethereal, ghostly melodies and those sudden, violent outbursts, it feels less like a concert and more like a controlled riot. It’s beautiful and terrifying at the same time, and honestly, if you haven't felt that vibration rattling your teeth in a dark club somewhere in the States, you haven't really lived. Most modern stuff is too clean, too safe, but this? This is pure, unfiltered atmosphere.
DOWNER – DOWNER
EDGE SOUNDTRACK #1 - MUSIC FOR LAZY SUNDAYS
Eminem – Relapse
Everlast’s *Ends* is one of those records that just hits you like a heavy fog rolling in over a gray morning in Chicago—it’s moody, it’s gritty, and honestly, it’s got this deep, soulful weight that most modern stuff completely lacks. You can tell the guy isn't just going through the motions here; there's a raw, unvarnished exhaustion baked into every track, like he’s finally stopped trying to impress the radio programmers and started just bleeding onto the mic. It’s a heavy listen, sure, but it’s honest, which is a damn rare commodity these days when everything feels so polished and fake.

Man, listening to Linkin Park’s "One Step Closer" just hits different when you realize how much that raw, unadulterated frustration defined an entire era of American rock. It’s that pure, distilled angst—that feeling of being pushed right to the edge where you're just about to snap—and they captured it perfectly. You can practically feel the tension building in those verses until everything just explodes. It’s heavy, it’s aggressive, and honestly, it’s one of those tracks that doesn't care if you like it or not; it just exists to vent that collective irritation we all feel sometimes. Truly a masterclass in nu-metal energy.
Machine Head – Hell Alive
Marty Grebb - Smooth Sailin'
MIKIS THEODORAKIS - ZOBRA THE AMERICAN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK
Ministry - Filth Pig
Ministry - Psalm 69
Misery loves company—but does happiness actually exist in this racket? Honestly, I’ve been staring at these spinning discs for so long that I’m starting to think the whole pursuit of "joy" is just some marketing scam cooked up by big record labels to keep us buying overpriced wax. You spend your life chasing that perfect press, hunting down a pristine copy of *Kind of Blue* " Miles Davis or praying you find a *White Album* that isn't trashed, and for what? A momentary hit of dopamine before the crushing realization sets in that the needle is wearing down and the music is just a ghost of what it used to be. It’s a cycle of longing and disappointment, a constant loop of wanting something you can't quite grasp, much like trying to catch lightning in a bottle. We tell ourselves we're happy when we score a rare *Blue Note 1568* or a mint condition *Led Zeppelin* pressing, but that feeling evaporates the second the next holy grail appears on the horizon. It’s exhausting, really. We’re all just circling the drain of our own obsessions, pretending that owning a piece of history makes us feel complete, while deep down, we know it's just a beautiful, noisy distraction from the void. Is anyone actually happy, or are we all just collectively lying to ourselves to keep the collection growing?

I am just so incredibly sick of it all—honestly, living in a world that feels like it’s constantly drowning in nothing but pure, unadulterated hate is exhausting. It’s everywhere you look, just constant noise and negativity bleeding through every screen and every street corner, and I'm reaching my breaking point with the whole thing.

Hi there!

I am currently looking to buy or trade my collection of Beatles singles and EPs.
I am interested in pretty much any title, with the exception of these specific ones:
She Loves You / I'll Get You
Long Tall Sally
Rock and Roll Music / I'm a Loser
Help! / I'm Down
The Beatles' Million Sellers
Nowhere Man / What Goes On
Michelle
Yellow Submarine / Eleanor Rigby
Strawberry Fields Forever / Penny Lane
Lady Madonna / The Inner Light
Hey Jude / Revolution
Get Back / Don't Let Me Down
The Ballad of John and Yoko / Old Brown Shoe
Yesterday / I Should Have Known Better

P.S. I have a preference for international pressings, though I won't turn down an American Capitol Records release.
