Does anyone happen to know which vaccines I should get before traveling to those parts of the world? Or maybe some specific pills I should pack? Thanks! 😬

You head down to the local public health clinic, and they'll sit you down and walk you through everything with such clarity and patience... πŸ™‚

As far as I know, you don't even need any vaccinations for Tunis.

Regarding India, too, they aren't really pushing mandatory vaccinations anymore. It honestly just depends on where you're headed. If you're sticking to the major cities, I guess you don't need much besides just using common senseβ€”you know, spraying for mosquitoes, washing your hands constantly, and being super careful about what you eat. But if you can't be sure about clean water or decent hygiene... then maybe you should look into typhoid, polio, and hepatitis A vaccines. Personally, I managed to get through three years there without a single shot or any malaria prevention, but I made sure to get the kids vaccinated against absolutely everything.

In Dubai, you don't need a vaccine, just a visa πŸ˜‰

You don't need it for Brazil. I skipped the shot before my trip to India, but honestly, just grab some Pepto-Bismol for the potential stomach issues from the climate and food shifts, and stick to papaya if you get cramps. Just stay away from street food and be smart about bottled water. Also, in India, being a white tourist means people will try to rip you off instantlyβ€”they assume you're loaded just because you're traveling, so haggle like your life depends on it. We used to hire taxis through these little local agencies tucked inside shops to take us to various villages and ashrams; we'd pay about $33 for a three-hour ride. Enjoy!

As far as Tunis goes, I know you don't need any vaccinations.

I would definitely suggest packing some stomach meds and anti-diarrheals, though. 😁
