Is there even a single scene by Delphi? 😳
There’s one crane shot—starts at the entrance, sweeps over the roof, then circles back along the side street. Plus, one long Johnson subjective shot when he meets Hilary Swank's family. But whatever—it is what it is. 😢

Interview with James Ellroy:
• So, why wasn't "Million Dollar Baby" really your thing?
- Honestly? Because I live for boxing, and the fights in that movie were just total garbage.
• Did you ever try stepping into the ring yourself?
- Oh, sure—and they beat the hell out of me every single time.
And here’s the best part:
• Ever deal with writer's block?
- Nope, never. I write when I feel like it, and if I don't feel like it? Well, that's not a block, right?

Holy crap, I seriously cannot believe there is actually a literate human being out there who thinks 'Million Dollar Baby' is a movie about boxing. For real? Good grief! It's like saying you hated 'The Lord of the Rings' just because you aren't a fan of gold rings...

- Not really, no. I mean, I only write when the mood hits me, and if I don't feel like it, I don't exactly call that a "block."
🤣 🙏 👍 Man.
Also, a quick thumbs up for De Palma. Honestly, most of those guys from that era of film buffs are pretty cool. He seemed a bit lost after Snake Eyes, but I see he's working on some kind of Untouchables prequel... seems like his style, maybe he'll get back into his groove.
As for The Black Dahlia, given how much hype there is, I'll probably just wait for the DVD release. ☕

Who cares about De Palma? What about Scarlet? 😁
never gonna catch us all🥳

So I roll up to the theater... and weirdly enough, there wasn't a hint of that stench yesterday. They must have finally fixed it, because that place usually smells like death. You’re halfway through a movie and the odor hits you so hard you feel like your hair might fall out. It’s like someone took twenty rotten eggs and seasoned them with spoiled cabbage. Anyway... I grabbed a huge bag of chips since I was starving, but everything was closed. Honestly, yesterday was actually a decent day to hit the cinema—which is saying something, since Sunday is famously the worst day ever. Oh, and earlier that morning, my neighbor Pete stopped by asking for help moving some tires out of the hall; apparently, his wife won't cook him anything until those things are gone. So, I'm on my way over to Pete's when

So I'm reading this above and I'm just sitting here thinking, what the hell, what's up with Jose Miller17? I actually checked his profile, thinking maybe I misread the name or something... maybe the guy was just having a bad day or feeling a bit cranky. 😁 😁

😁😁 ...let me throw in something positive so it doesn't look like I'm just trashing the movie...
I actually enjoyed that part where a Coke cap rolls off the table and disappears, and you just start chasing it... 😬

Well, I have to say, I wasn't particularly impressed by this one.
It felt stretched thin, lacking any real sense of tension.
Scarlett didn't bring much to the table, nor did Josh. And honestly, Swankica was underwhelming too.
The whole thing just felt... meh. It’s watchable, I suppose, but it fails to actually engage you.

I thought the movie was alright. Honestly, it’s better than The Maltese Falcon, which doesn't say much, but still...
You thinking about extending it, Jose Miller17? Did he end up helping you out with those tires? 🙂
And what happened after that?

Here’s another agreement regarding the movie... I think it’s obvious that yesterday’s total flop completely ruined my mood. So, I finally managed to forget that I even went to see
last night with my neighbor at the local dive bar... until I found a lighter in my cabinet today. No joke, you have to see what's inside... nickels, quarters, those thick empty ones, and the thick full ones... there's enough stuff in there to fill half a wallet. But the funniest part was realizing I was reading everything upside down without even noticing.
...
And then I’m reminded of The Maltese Falcon 😲
...
But enough of this nonsense!!... Scavengers... soul-sucking vultures hiding behind (virtual) human faces!! Your intentions are transparent!! 🙂 ...🧐 😬 Go ahead, throw your money away if you’re really that bored... peace out!! 😁

Jose Miller17 🤣
He always manages to beat me to the punch—I'm at a loss for words. Truly terrible. Nearly 121 minutes of absolutely nothing. Then there were those 45 minutes of filler that were—good grief—just as tedious.
Wishing you all the best.

I think his total lack of visibility is actually what keeps him safe. Honestly, I was curious about who was killing off all those women... but that's also exactly why I'm not a fan anymore. I mean, what kind of explanation is that? What even is it? Who are these people? Seriously, it’s just wild.
