Atheist Rap

I honestly can't wait. I've been listening to the rhythm on loop all day—probably at least twenty times now...

Atheist Rap is easily one of my all-time favorites—maybe even my #1. These guys are just pure fun, they know how to get a crowd going, and they actually feel real instead of acting like those other posers. They’re one of the few legit punk bands in the States—and when I say punk, I don't mean that fake, pop-punk stuff like Sixpack ☕

I suppose I have a real soft spot for Atheist Rap; they are certainly among the better punk acts in America, and their sound is quite impressive... though, I guess I still find Six Pack to be a bit more my style.

Personally, I’ve always found myself leaning toward the Atheist Rap crowd, and honestly, I’m perfectly fine with my six-pack too...

Honestly, Atheist Rap has way better music, but Six Pack is just more my vibe—I started listening to them first, I guess 🙂...

I remember listening to that garbage back in high school... what a joke... just some massive Cadillac pumping out clouds of smoke... totally pathetic. And a blue Volkswagen Beetle? Please. It was just some punk rock nonsense meant for kids. Honestly, they can take it and shove it...

Does anyone happen to know if I need to grab tickets in advance for the Mini Theater club, or can I just pay the cover charge at the door when I show up? I've been searching everywhere but I can't seem to find anything useful. 🤷

Dammit, I just realized I actually have to go get a membership card for the venue first.

You show up to the show, tell the guy at the door you don't have a membership yet, and they'll ask for your name, log it in the system, take your $3.25, and hand you a card. Then you just walk back to the entrance, show them the card, and pay for your ticket. That’s it. The card is good for the next year.

Just wanted to chime in and say I’m a huge fan of Atheist Rap too. My absolute favorite track is I saw, I saw. I’ve made it to about six of their shows, and they are always a blast. My boyfriend is also a big fan, so we listen to them together all the time. It’s honestly such a great vibe.

They were handing out IDs at The Swamp, too. We went to some metal show—obviously—and had to give our phone numbers. Since Lanin number ends in 666, we figured they wouldn't believe us. Turns out they did. I guess that pretty much kills the punchline of this story right away 🤷

Alright, alright. I haven't really sat down to listen to much of it, but from what I’ve gathered—and I haven't heard a ton—the songs aren't half bad. Pritilend actually kind of stuck in my head.

Honestly, out of all their shows I've ever been to, the one at the Spider was easily my favorite.

Also, just a heads-up: the concert announcement on the site has the wrong date listed. It isn't October 17th, it's actually October 16th. I tried to flag it earlier, but I think I just got lost in the shuffle and was ignored 😳

Anyway, just letting everyone know I've got tickets 0001 and 0002 😲
