Oh, give me a break! We can all see your post count, and you’re basically running an ad campaign in every single one of them! If that junk of yours actually worked, we wouldn't need the sales pitch, would we? ☕

Stop playing around with medicinal herbs and trying to DIY everything based on books. Just sign up for a proper herbalism course so an actual expert can teach you and take you out into the wild for real field practice!

I have a question...
I’m essentially clueless when it comes to medicinal herbs—so I’m asking for anyone willing to share what they know about elderberries. What can you actually make with them? And more importantly, are they safe to eat raw? If anyone happens to have a recipe for elderberry juice, please leave it below.
Thanks.

I'm slowly diving into the world of medicinal herbs and wild edibles, so I was wondering if there are any others out there worth knowing about. 🙂

I don't really know much about herbal medicine, so I was hoping someone could walk me through everything there is to know about elderberries. I'm curious about what you can actually make with them and whether they're safe to eat raw. If anyone happens to have a recipe for elderberry juice, please leave it here...
Thanks!!!

Back in the day, we used to make juice out of the berries, though now we just stick to the flowers... as for recipes, you can find plenty of them online...

shadowgardener12 said:Does anyone remember the name of that "bear herb" that pops up in the spring and smells just like garlic? I know the Celtic and Roman tribes used it back in the day. I use it quite often myself, but I always seem to blank on the American name for it...

It’s called Wild Garlic!!

You can usually find it growing in shaded, damp spots, especially near a creek or small stream.
It's absolutely wonderful for cleansing the blood because it's packed with antioxidants. Just a word of caution, though—don't overdo it, or you might end up feeling pretty unwell from getting too many antioxidants all at once. If you're interested, I actually know where entire fields of it grow! It’s best to harvest the leaves during the spring.
