Carl Lee4 said:For a few months now, I’ve been hitting the hay around midnight and not actually getting up until about 9:30 AM. My internal clockβ€”think of it like a glitchy Apple Watch πŸ™‚β€”wakes me up around 7, but instead of getting up, I just roll over, hug my pillow, and drift right back off.
The thing is, those extra two and a half hours before 9:30 always suck... I’m waking up every ten minutes, hearing every single noise from the street, and my neck is killing me from how I slept... yet I still refuse to get out of bed... grrr.
I also tend to have some pretty nasty dreams during those last few minutes of sleep.

So, any tips on how to actually start getting up earlier... say, around 7:30?

Anyone else dealing with this?πŸ˜•

I’m an early bird right up until > I end up grinding away at work until 1, 2, or even later into the night. Then it's game over. If I've been busting my tail all day, waking up early is actually a breeze.

If you’re dealing with the same thing, your problem isn't "sleep"β€”it's your PC, the high-speed internet, Netflix, and that sweet, sweet silence you get late at night. Shut down the computer, cancel the Wi-Fi, toss the TV out the window, cut the power, and go buy some chickens. You'll have enough chores to do during the day to make sure you're actually exhausted by bedtime. πŸ™‚

I find myself wondering... if I were to express a similar sentiment, would there be an opening available? Do you happen to have any vacancies at the moment? πŸ€”

I've actually become an early bird over the last few weeks myself. πŸ™‚ one day I was absolutely exhausted and crashed at 8 PM, only to wake up wide awake at 7 AM the next morning. Now, my routine has settled into hitting the hay around 10 PM and getting up between 6 and 7 AM.
