This thread has been around for ages...

I’ve been hearing nothing but praise for this series lately, and from what I've read, the structure is actually pretty brilliant... Is there any chance a network like HBO or Netflix plans on picking it up here in the States? 🙂

Honestly, the second season was just as killer. That one episode, "Had Sex with Ralf's mom" :9—that’s easily my all-time favorite!

Earl (Almost Famous, Chasing Amy) has messed up his life more times than anyone can count. But thanks to a weird twist of fate, everything changes. After hitting it big with a lottery win, he decides to use his sudden luck to fix all the mistakes he’s made in the past.

Just as Earl is getting ready to start this whole journey, his usual bad luck trips him up again. Right after winning the jackpot, he gets hit by a car and knocks himself out. In the chaos, his winning ticket disappears. While he's recovering in the hospital, he catches a clip of Carson Daly on TV, who claims that his sudden success is actually a reward for all the good things he's done for others. That's when it clicks for Earl—he realizes karma is real. Hoping for a better life, he decides to make amends for every wrong he's ever committed, starting with an apology to his old school buddy Kenny (Gregg Binkley), whom he used to tease constantly. Along the way, he's joined by a few pretty goofy friends: his brother Randy and the attractive Catalina. He also gets some support from Darnell, the guy who runs the local diner where Earl usually grabs a beer. His ex-wife Joy, though, isn't exactly looking to lend a hand unless she can find a way to lecture him first. Even though he's not always the brightest, Earl is surprisingly good at this, and I guess you could say the show, much like Earl himself, is pretty unique.

This series is brilliant. To be honest, American sitcoms usually lack real comedic depth, but this one is absolutely top-tier. 😍

Just finished the first episode and man, this show is legit. It actually gave me something to think about. I’m already hooked and can't wait for the next one. Does anyone know how many seasons have been picked up yet?

I honestly have no clue—it seems like our networks here in the States always mess things up by cutting shows short or refusing to air half a season...

The show has three seasons total; I’ve got two, but I desperately need a link for the third one if anyone can help me out?

Finally, it’s actually hitting the streaming services! My only real gripe is that they’re broadcasting it in such a cropped aspect ratio. Seriously? I guess they won't learn how to fix the framing until everyone in the States finally upgrades to full HD televisions everywhere.

Even though I’m already halfway through season three via torrents, you just have to watch the classic episodes on PBS to really get the full experience.🙂
