I have a surgery scheduled in about a monthβ€”one is already on the books, and it looks like another one might be right around the corner πŸ˜•
I’m honestly pretty terrified, especially since some woman told me that undergoing general anesthesia can shave ten years off your lifeβ€”and I've already had a few procedures under it myself. Please, someone tell me that isn't true!

Listening to that woman claim anesthesia shaves ten years off your life... honestly, it sounds like it was written by someone who’s already six feet under. People just make stuff up and somehow stay alive. Don't sweat it.

Are you kidding me? Stress is what actually shortens your life, while staying positive keeps you going and improves your quality of life. Good luck with the surgery😘!

So, where exactly would people end up if they tried to shave off ten years of their lives? It’s all just a bit much for me. Personally, I’ve been knocked out three times by general anesthesiaβ€”not through some fancy mask, either. I still have this nagging fear that I might just stay awake through the whole thing.πŸ˜‰
